Training & development
Choose the part of the progression you need.
Training is split into focused pages so recruits, experienced members, trainers, and leaders can go directly to the part of ASRP development that applies to them.

One progression. Four focused areas.
Departments may use different curriculum, phases, and qualification standards, but these pages explain the common development model without turning this hub into a manual.

Open Leadership Development →Why structure it
Access follows demonstrated readiness.
ASRP development is intended to reduce guesswork and give members a clear path from learning a role to performing it independently, then earning specialty, training, supervisory, or command responsibility where appropriate.
Perform the work with appropriate oversight, receive feedback, correct mistakes, and demonstrate consistency in practical situations.
Use evaluations, qualifications, and current authorization so independent access and specialty permissions have an explainable basis.
Members moving into trainer, supervisor, or command functions should demonstrate coaching, communication, accountability, sound judgment, and the ability to support the people below them.

Public Safety Training
Training supports departments; it does not replace them.
Open an agency page for its current command and Discord destination. Current instructors and department leadership control the actual training process, rank responsibilities, trainer authority, and any department-specific requirements.
Connected records
Nexus is being built to make progression easier to manage.
As relevant Nexus modules are released, personnel, training, qualifications, permissions, applications, and department workflows can use one connected identity instead of separate manual records. Until a module is formally in service, the current approved department process remains controlling.
